Meet the team behind the magic – it's not just Amy and Heidi; we're a family affair! With support from Kyle (Heidi's husband), Gary (Amy's husband), Marcie (Amy's other daughter), many other aunts and cousins, we've turned our dream into a delightful reality.
Our baking journey has been a labor of love. Amy's diverse work experiences, including roles at Minnetonka Public Schools, Edina Police Department, and Nelson Masonry, laid the foundation. Heidi's background in event planning with businesses like metroConnections and the Oakridge Hotel & Conference Center added a unique touch to our creative process.
The love for baking was sparked early on when Amy started decorating cakes for her daughters' birthdays. Heidi's creative flair took it to the next level with cupcakes resembling pool balls for her now husband, Kyle. Together with Marcie, they ventured into crafting designer cakes and cupcakes for friends and family – from a walleye to a minion and even a shark!
Though the journey had its challenges, juggling full-time jobs while pursuing our passion for designer cakes, we persevered. The spark of baking remained alive, and we made the bold decision to bid farewell to our jobs and dive headfirst into opening our own bakery. Now, we're here doing what we love and sharing our passion for baking with the world!
